Silicon Dragon Ventures was formed in 2010 as a venture capital and entrepreneur network spanning the leading Silicon Valleys of the world from Sand Hill Road to Tsinghua in Beijing to Yangpu in Shanghai to Fusionopolis in Singapore to Whitefield in Bangalore and Silicon Alley in New York.  
Through news, events, consulting and research worldwide, Silicon Dragon provides  unique insights and a grass-roots framework to better understand and evaluate the world's innovation centers from a global perspective.
The 10,000-strong Silicon Dragon network includes entrepreneurs, executives of emerging companies, deal makers, venture capitalists, angel investors, investment bankers and legal, accounting and management consulting practitioners. This network encompasses a broad spectrum of market sectors internationally in clean energy, bio-medical, cloud computing, gaming, e-ecommerce, social networking, luxury brands and retail.
The group publishes Silicon Dragon News and hosts Silicon Dragon forums in China, the U.S. and Europe. Silicon Dragon builds upon two decades of experience covering venture capital, startups and innovation trends by author, journalist and public speaker Rebecca A. Fannin. Her two well-received books, Silicon Dragon (McGraw-Hill, 2008) and Startup Asia (John Wiley & Sons, 2011) have been translated into Chinese, Vietnamese and Arabic and were favorably reviewed by the Financial Times, the New York Times, The Economist and The Wall Street Journal.
