What China’s Tech Titans Foretell, It’s a Wrap, Boston!
What does China’s next wave of tech innovation mean for global investors — and what opportunities are emerging right now?
Alumni Ventures, SVB, Silicon Dragon and Taihill Venture hosted an exclusive evening in Boston, March 26, 2026, celebrating the recent launch of a new book by Rebecca A. Fannin:
The New Tech Titans of China: Innovation Under Pressure in the World’s Most Ambitious Economy.
From generative AI and digital currencies to the global reach of platforms like TikTok and Temu, China’s tech ambitions continue to expand — often in defiance of growing geopolitical pressure. As Western nations reassess their dependence on Chinese technologies, the landscape is growing more complex and more urgent. Our discussion unpacked the key themes from Rebecca’s newly released book and explored what it all means for investors navigating this shifting terrain.
