China’s dating and chat app Momo files to go public in the U.S. and raise $300 million. Alibaba owns an 21 percent stake in Momo, started up by Netease founder Yan Tang. Other investors include Matrix Partners China, Sequoia Capital China and Yunfeng Capital. WSJ

 

Vertex leads investment in Chinese e-commerce site Metao with Morningside and Matrix Partners joining in.
IPV Capital and AliPay have invested $12 million in a second financing for Singapore and U.S.-based mobile security startup V-key.

IDG and Morningside have led a $60 million round for China P2P car-rental site PPzuche that was launched by iCarsclub from Singapore.

Matrix and SIG have invested $20 million in Tencent-backed laundry service app Edaixi in Beijing.
